America250PA Team Joins Potter County Celebration
Potter County was joined yesterday by America250PA Executive Director Cassandra Coleman as part of a statewide kickoff celebrating the nation’s semiquincentennial, marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Also speaking was Potter County Historical Society (PCHS) President David Castano. He has teamed with Ilene Altenhein, regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution/Allegewi Chapter, to coordinate the county’s observance, which will continue through the Independence Day weekend.

PCHS has created an exhibit and literature on the Revolutionary War soldiers who are buried in Potter County. Museum hours are 1-4 pm on Mondays and Fridays.
